I think screencasting would become easier with more practice. I tried using "screener" but I need to update Java on my home computer. So, I went to the open lab and used the smart notebook instead. It worked well to already have a plan for my screencast before I started.
I had technical difficulties when I tried using some of the screencasting programs last summer - Smart Recorder seems like the easiest option, since it's installed on all our teacher computers already. I will have to create mine at open lab next week! And it looks like you have a jump start on Activity 5: Creating a MV YouTube channel! :)
ReplyDeleteGood Job. Nice refresher on synonyms.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Roberta! Your voice and instructions were clear and easy to understand, especially along with the visual cues from showing the game as you explained it. It would be great to show your class this and set them free to practice. Now if we only had access to computers for them to use... Cindy
ReplyDeleteNice work! I like the idea of using screencasting to demonstrate an online tool (or game), so students could use it at home as well.
